A one-day hiking event was organized jointly by Budhanilkantha Municipality and the Society of Travel and Tour Operators (SOTTO) Nepal.

The hike, held from Budhanilkantha Temple to Muhan Pokhari, was organized on the eve of the 45th World Tourism Day. It is expected to boost both domestic and international tourist arrivals in the Budhanilkantha Municipality area.

Participants highlighted that Budhanilkantha is rich in religious and natural attractions and emphasized the need for collective efforts to promote and preserve the area.

Representatives from the Nepal Tourism Board and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) also participated in the event.
